Common

In the "Common" tab, you can select the interface language for the SharpTrader. Available languages: English, Chinese traditional and Chinese simplified.

Telegram alerts

1. Open Telegram and enter BotFather in the search

2. Select BotFather and press the "Start" button.

3. Enter command /newbot to create a new bot.

4. Choose a name for your bot "BJFAlertsXXXXX". Chose username for your bot "BJFAlerts_yourname_bot

5. Copy your token, enter it into the API token field, and press the "Get Chat ID" button. Could you send your SharpTrader license ID to your bot chat?

6. Adjust alerts:

• Send session connect alerts - check if you want to receive alerts when the session is connected.
• Send session disconnect alerts - check if you want to receive alerts when the session is disconnected.
• Send feed "freeze" alerts - check if you want to receive alerts when the feed is frozen.
• Send equity control alerts - check if you want to receive alerts when the equity reaches the equity control level.
• Send order fill alerts - check if you want to receive alerts when the order is executed.
• Send order rejection alerts - check if you want to receive alerts when the order is rejected.

Tick data management

In the "Tick data management" tab, you can set a tick storage folder: local or remote folder, the maximal number of ticks for the single file, and storage size.

You can also compress ticks if you check "Compress ticks."
