Installation

SharpTrader platfrom requires Firebird database for operation so first of all you will need to install the database. Firebird database installer is available by the following link:

You will need to accept all the agreements and press Next in several subsequent windows.

In window where it requests to put Database System Administrator password you need to type masterkey using lowercase letters to both fields and press next.

Sometimes it might require to restart the system to complete installation. We recommend to do that right away.

Next step is installation of the SharpTrader platform. Download SharpTrader installer to VPS using the link: https://iticsoftware-products.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/SharpTrader_setup.exe and cliсk on it.

In the first window you will need to read and accept the License Agreement. In the second window it will ask you to put your License ID and Secret key. You need to put the details you received in license email. Important!!! Please make sure spelling is correct and there is no spaces before or after license ID and Secret key.

In the next window you can select destination folder and then proceed to finish installation.

Important!!! We recommend to start the SharpTrader platform with administrative rights using 'Run as administrator' option from the right-click menu on the software otherwise software might not work properly.
